ACCREDITATION OF LABORATORIES
Introduction
Any laboratory wishing to achieve an accredited status has to demonstrate compliance to ISO/IEC 17025 (for testing and calibration laboratories) or ISO 15189 (for medical laboratories) International Standards.
MAURITAS is responsible for checking the above compliance through its assessors who are fully familiar with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025 and/or ISO 15189 International Standards.
Accreditation is open to laboratories undertaking testing and/or calibration, whether it is in the private sector or in the public sector.
